EXPERIENCE

Mark is a highly experienced investment banker and corporate advisor, having focused predominantly in the natural resources sector. He currently serves as Deputy Chairman and Lead Independent Director of the world’s fourth largest iron ore producer Fortescue Ltd, and as Chairman of AirTrunk (a cloud-based data centre company operating in Asia-Pacific and Japan).

Mark also chairs the Hospital Benefit Fund Investment Committee and was previously on the Board of the Reserve Bank of Australia.

EXPERIENCE

Elizabeth is one of Australia’s most experienced business leaders, with more than three decades of executive and board experience across the resources, infrastructure, travel and tourism, technology and financial sectors.

She served as Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of ASX listed Fortescue from February 2018 to August 2022, having previously joined the Executive team as Chief Financial Officer in February 2017 and the Board as a Non-Executive Director in February 2013. She retired from the Board of Fortescue on 30 June 2026 after more than 13 years’ service. During her tenure, Fortescue delivered significant operational and financial growth while strengthening its focus on sustainability, safety, innovation and the decarbonisation of its mining operations.

Elizabeth has extensive international experience in financial, commercial and strategic leadership, together with deep expertise in corporate governance, capital allocation, mergers and acquisitions, business transformation and stakeholder engagement.  She has worked closely with global customers, governments and investors throughout Asia, Europe and North America, with particular insight into the role of Australian resources in supporting economic development and the global energy transition.

Elizabeth currently serves as Chair of the West Coast Eagles (AFL) Football Club, a Non Executive Director of the Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute and Senior Adviser to Oryx Global Partners Ltd.

EXPERIENCE

Jimmy is a highly experienced mining and natural resources executive with deep operational experience across a range of commodities and jurisdictions. He spent more than 25 years with one of the world’s biggest mining companies, BHP, and held various senior executive positions including President of the Iron Ore, Energy Coal and Stainless Steel Materials divisions.

Jimmy was appointed to the Export Finance Australia board in December 2020 for a three-year term, which was renewed in December 2023 for a further three years.  Jimmy also serves as a non-executive director of Kudamane Manganese Resources and as an adviser to Asia Minerals Limited and Viburnum Funds.

EXPERIENCE

Alex is a senior Non-Executive Director of the Company. Alex qualified as a Chartered Accountant and has many years’ experience in investment banking encompassing flotations, takeovers, and mergers and acquisitions for private and quoted companies.

Alex is also a director of UK listed companies Bradda Head Lithium limited, Red Rock Resources plc and Kendrick Resources plc.

EXPERIENCE

Paul is a senior mining industry professional with more than 40 years of Australian and international resource experience across a range of commodities including both surface and underground mining. He has global operational and corporate experience from his executive roles including Director of Operations with Fortescue Ltd, Executive General Manager of Developments and Projects with Newcrest Mining, Director of Victorian Operations with Alcoa as well as Executive General Manager of Base and Precious Metals at North Ltd.

Paul has advised several boards as a non-executive director and currently serves on the board of CODA Minerals Ltd where he is the chair of the Audit and Risk committee.

EXPERIENCE

Otto is a Mining Engineer with over 25 years’ experience in international mining and consulting roles. He has held key technical and operational positions within underground and open pit operations in Australia and abroad. As a mining consultant, Otto provided technical advisory across a broad range of mines and projects, including open pit and underground stoping, sub-level caving and block caving operations.

Otto joined Greatland in 2021, prior to which his career has included roles as Group Study Manager for Resolute Mining Ltd, Principal Consultant for Snowden Optiro, and Mine Planning Manager for Newcrest Mining Ltd at the Telfer Mine.

 

EXPERIENCE

Monique is a Chartered Accountant with over 19 years of experience working in both practice and public listed companies and within mineral extractive industries.

Monique commenced her career with PricewaterhouseCoopers, working across both Audit and Financial Advisory teams.

Monique has held senior finance roles with several listed businesses, including Conocophillips and Santos Limited.

Monique holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Western Australia

 

EXPERIENCE

Rowan has extensive transactional experience in public and private mergers and acquisitions, financings, joint ventures and investments. Rowan joined the Company from Fortescue Ltd where he was a Corporate Development Manager responsible for assessing, managing and executing business development activities in both mining and renewable energy.

Rowan was previously a Commercial Associate at IFM Investors working with its Infrastructure investments team, and prior to that a Senior Associate in Ashurst’s Corporate team in Perth where he advised on and managed significant, high value and cross-border M&A transactions particularly in the mining and resources sector. Rowan holds Bachelors of Laws and Commerce from the University of Western Australia.

EXPERIENCE

Damien has over 30 years’ experience in gold and base metals exploration and development.

With a strong focus on technical excellence and safe, socially responsible, efficient and effective exploration, Damien has held senior exploration roles with a number of TSX and ASX listed companies including, IAMGOLD, Dalradian Gold, Westgold and most recently Sandfire Resources.

Damien holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Geology/Earth Science, General from Flinders University.
